| The twerps help an incredible loser capture a mosquito | Reduced to insanity and stealing crippled mosquitoes | One mosquito is as good as any other! |

The kid has cornered the Yanma and calls out a Piplup called Pippy, which surprisingly has a little tiara on its forehead that by an amazing coincidence can serve to differentiate it from Dawn's Piplup (what an amazing bit of luck!). The kid tries to capture the Yanma using Pippy to fight, but it gets its ass kicked even with Ash's advice (which amounts to "be better at this!"), and the Yanma escapes.
Thrusting their crotches into the camera, Jesse pops a Pokéball out from under her skirt (oh!) and casually tosses it down to the ground where it bounces off of Yanma and..... catches it! They submerge their submarine and disappear, leaving Tyler behind standing shocked and dismayed...... AHAHAHAHA! WHAT A LOSER!
But the twerps tell him to buck up and not give up the fight, and he quickly gets over his mopiness and forgets all about the poor little mosquito that is now in the clutches of an evil trio of criminals. Another Yanma flies by and he decides to catch that instead, rushing after it as the twerps chase him. It's kind of troubling that he finds all the mosquitoes so interchangeable as potential "best friends" but hey, one mosquito is much the same as another, and hell... for all we know it IS the one that landed on his head in the first place! It's not like he's kept it in view the entire time!
As Jesse imagines promotion, James imagines seconds (a "meat" dish?) and Meowth considers dirty nothings whispered in his ear. In Kanto, Giovanni is having a late night, petting the Persian on his lap and demanding to know why two Rocket Grunts have come to his ridiculously huge office. They show him the Pokéball and tell him it comes from "a Jesse, James and Meowth", and when he just stares, they explain to him that they're representatives from Sinnoh. Completely oblivious to their existence (which is probably just as well), his laptop uses some technical whiz-bang to reveal it's a Yanma inside because he can't even be bothered to open it. Giovanni asks how their supply of Yanma is currently doing and is told they've recently received a large number of them. They ask what The Boss intends to do, but he seems more interested in petting his cat.

But Jesse and James are willingly deluded, weeping in appreciation. Yanma is returned to its Pokéball and Jesse declares that since she caught it, she should be the one to keep it. Surprisingly, the others happily go along with this, but Jesse has a rare moment of selflessness, noting that kindly Giovanni is getting the short end of the stick. James vows to catch a new Yanma to gift to The Boss though, and with newfound determination they set of.
"NRNN-NAHHH!" it declares as the twerps check it out with Dextina. Jesse calls for a Sonic Boom that knocks back Chimchar, then knocks back the twerps. As Team Rocket celebrate though, the other Yanma wakes up and flies away.
Ash sends in Buizel and Jesse has Yanmega leap high into the air and prepare a blast of Ancient Power, but THE BUIZELSTER HAS CLIMBED THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN AND SWUM THE DEEPEST SEA, BROTHER! AND JUST LIKE IT TOOK DOWN YOKOZUNA IT WILL BODYSLAM YANMEGA AS WELL! It dodges Ancient Power, slams it with Aqua Jet ("Da Boss' gift will shrink!" squeals Meowth in horror) and then blasts it direct with Sonic Boom, sending it falling into Team Rocket's arms. Pikachu then blasts them off with Thunderbolt, and as they fly through the air they decide to e-mail The Boss a picture of Yanmega to show how well it is doing (oh that can only end well!), then hug Yanmega happily as they blast off, declaring that blasting off with Yanmega is a real blast!
